A baby boomer pictorial perspective of a nuclear youth. A kid’s eye view of life growing up among the tumbleweeds and sagebrush in the shadow of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in eastern Washington in the 60’s and 70’s. The collection of over 40 images covers the mood of hot summers, fast boats, dust storms and atomic signs of the times.

MIDCENTURY MODERN SERIES

Each winter we trek to the desert lands of Palm Springs to enjoy the sun, heat, palms and everything Midcentury Modern. The town is filled with contemporary homes built in the 50's and 60's, now preserved and outfitted with Midcentury Modern era furniture, lighting and art. I hoped to capture the mood of these fabulous design times with this watercolor series.
